Dr. Riza Kadilar is a PhD in Economics. After a BSc degree at METU in Industrial Engineering, he has obtained his MSc degree at Stanford University, and completed his MBA at HEC, Paris and an executive management course on banking at INSEAD. He has various advance level diplomas in executive coaching and mentoring, and has recently attended online programs on leadership in digital age at Columbia Business School and INSEAD.
His professional career includes senior level bank management experience in the UK, the Netherlands, France, and Turkey. He has been the senior country manager and representative for Turkey at NATIXIS since 2006. Previously he served as the deputy CEO at a merchant bank in London (2002-2006), as a management board member of a trade finance bank in Amsterdam (1998-2002), and as the head of corporate banking and financial institutions at a Turkish bank in Istanbul (1994-1998). During his banking career he has set up five entities, led the restructuring of three subsidiaries in various European jurisdictions, and closed down two subsidiaries and three rep offices. His excellent and diligent track record shows a remarkable business and profitability growth all thru his career without any credit, compliance, reputation, and operational incident.
As a voluntary position, he is currently the global president of European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC), chairman of China Institute Turkey, scientific committee member at Institut du Bosphore (Paris), president of TUSIAD Netherlands Task Force (Amsterdam), and board member at Hisar Education Foundation (Istanbul). He supports a small number of distinguished corporate clients with business development advisory, and executive coaching & training services, and also invests in startups mainly in the area of agri-food technology. He is the author of five published books, and regularly writes at Bloomberg Businessweek Turkey.
Dr. Kadilar is a visiting professor in leading universities, and has delivered numerous motivational speeches during the last twenty years in more than thirty countries.
